Dell Dimension E521 PC won’t stay on desktop screen once it gets to it. What is causing this, and how can I fix it please? Update (11/13/2017) this is from when it goes to desktop screen to all it will do afterwards…
ps- I just noticed some small capacitors that might be bad…would these cause this problem?
Which video card do you have? Are you using the new Windows 10 Fall Creators Update (1709)? Old ATI graphics cards with 2015 Windows provided drivers on computers that also have integrated Intel graphics will have this issue. Try pressing the “Windows KEY”+ P, this should show a new menu show up. Select “Project” and select your monitor.
