Why The Printer Installs As A Scanner Not Printer Since It S A Mg252 Canon Printer

My canon mg2522 loads the mp driver but installs it instead as a scanner only and not allowing it to be a printer as well. I tried to fix it in my printer and tells me that it can’t be fixed. I tried to fix it with the firewall off and still got no where. I’m thinking of taking the printer back and getting a new one.

Hi @kjcd69, Try installing the XPS printer driver from this link and check. The link should automatically detect what OS is installed in your computer but check to make sure that it shows the OS that you have.
