Hello Here is after market screen the manufacturer put the yellow tape on chip as below picture Because of anti ghost touch? For example if ipad digitizer has ghost touch, if u put some yellow tape around screen, the ghost would be disappeared Or maybe that chip is over heat, it would be temperature lower down maybe? Plz let me know thanks all
Kapton tape is used for thermal shielding during solder repairs. I don’t think it is relevant, they just decided to tape over it to protect the QR code on it.
