When I turn my PS3 super slim on it starts out good and in about 3 seconds it comes up on the screen that the device is overheating and then it shuts off but there was a day that I turned it on and it stayed on for 35 minutes and then did the same thing
This could be caused by dust inside the ps3 you can clean the inside of the ps3 after opinion it or it could be a broken temperature sensor but that is really unlickly
