Hi I have an IPhone 6 here where i have just replaced the screen due to the phone being dropped and the LCD panel only half working. When the cover for the screen flex cables was removed one of the small pieces where the screw screws into has come out. I have put the a new (known working as i tested it on another iphone) screen in and the phone will start up when plugged in however nothing shows on the screen and the phone starts beeping - my research suggests that this is because the screen isnt being detected. Have forced a reboot to no avail, also tried reseating the flex cables and have checked the flex connectors under a magnafying glass however see now damage. I have circled the piece that came off in the below picture. Help please http://iforce.co.nz/i/e0qtuyad.deo.png
Looks like the wrong screw has been used in the past and it has probably damaged the supply rails on the logic board. Call around and find someone who is competent in micro soldering to fix the damage, however this is a tricky job with a fairly low probability of success.
you will need a microscope. There are tiny traces on the board more notably on the one to the right of that one. Probably got torn off with the screw socket Update (05/18/2016) search on youtube iphone 5s/6 blue screen
