Dryer will run for a short time and then shuts off. Open and reclose the door and it will run again. Hinges bad, bad latch, not sure where to start?
I’d start by checking the wiring to the door latch.
There could be a problem with the connection in the switch which detects wheter or not the door is closed. Dryers do make vibrations when they run, so the switch could have a poor connection.
