About a week and a half ago my friend hit my phone out of my hand and it dropped on the ground. When I picked it up it hadn’t cracked or anything and it looked fine but when I pushed the home button green lines appeared on it and it just went black. It wasn’t responding to anything until I tried charging it then it made all of the noises that a phone should make, but the screen won’t turn on. Please help.
I would suggest inspecting it and maybe replacing the screen on it. This will most likely fix your problem but if it doesn’t then it may be that the battery got disconnected or damaged somehow. However, this is unlikely, especially since you say it had lines on it before it died. Before you go and buy a new screen, you should open it carefully and make sure the screen is connected properly. This is the most probable cause since there appears to be no physical damage to the screen.
